La Kanna

This small cafe, which claims to serve ‘light and tasteful (i.e. stylish)’ meals, is decorated in subdued grey tones, but sports enough fresh cut flowers to make you wonder if you’ve made a mistake and entered a florist’s shop. The concept is a little difficult to grasp as it’s part wine and Italian food shop and part bistro serving coffee and cocktails as well as a Sunday brunch that includes a glass of prosecco for 8 EUR. Although the kitchen area is always abuzz with plenty of activity, there really isn’t that much food on offer apart from pancakes, omelettes and quiche. Desserts are also conspicuously absent from the menu.
