Dragon’s Den

COMMUNICATE, NEGOTIATE AND WORK AS A TEAM TO CONVINCE THE DRAGON’S YOU ARE THE WINNING TEAM

This team building activity’s concept is based on the hit international television series. Teams are split into groups and each given an iPad and resource pack. The team then has then got to work under time pressures to gauge what products will be a hit, goldmine or miss.

Once their idea has been chosen they have the opportunity to defend one of their key investments. Explaining why and how they made the decision.

Have to develop a the business idea that they believe could become very profitable, but lack the funding and direction. They pitch their idea to the board of eponymous “dragons”. The board can be made up of senior management or guest speakers / company associates.

The Dragons probe the idea further once the groups have made their presentation. The team that delivers the most comprehensive, convincing, imaginative and humorous pitch will win the token investment from the panel. Rather than hard cash the winning team will receive an award for their efforts.

The timings for Dragon’s Den event can be tailored to your requirements and can be set at almost any location. Should you want a momento of the event we can arrange for the whole event to be recorded in a film studio or even transform a venue to recreate a TV studio. Participants will then also get an insight in to the disciplines of making and recording a television show. Group members will be given the roles of Director, Floor manager, Camera men, Vision Mixer, Sound / Boom operator.
